We’re now looking for an Apprentice Finance Administrator to join our growing team based in Consett, County Durham.
At CAV, it’s our vision to place CAV technology on every possible aircraft. We design, test, analyse and manufacture technology solutions for ice protection and drag reduction in the aviation and aerospace sectors.
Within this role you will work alongside other members of the Finance team and use accounting software and banking packages to maintain records of transactions, process invoices, and prepare reports. The successful candidate will be studying towards AAT Level 2 in conjunction with this role.
As part of the Finance team, your key accountabilities will be:
* Accounts Payable – processing of supplier invoices and payments.
* Payroll – learn the end-to-end process.
* Accounts Receivable – raise customer invoices, cash allocations, credit control basics.
* Reconciliation – both daily procedures (cash) and monthly (balance sheet).
* Supporting the finance team delivering successful budgets / reforecasts / audits.
* Complete general administration duties where required.

* Must be self motivated.
