We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics for 35 hours per week.
Our Council’s vision is to make Dumfries and Galloway the best place in Scotland to live, learn, work, visit, and grow. Our Education and Learning Directorate contributes to this vision through its unique and diverse schools — large and small, urban and rural, partnership and all-through. Our purpose is to increase achievement, attainment, and participation for all young people aged 2-18 by fostering staff development and innovation through collaborative working.
We believe in developing the autonomy of schools, Headteachers, and staff to facilitate high-quality learning and teaching. We are committed to using our resources innovatively to build on our investment in staff and their practice, leading to continued improvements in attainment, achievement, and participation.
We offer high-quality professional learning opportunities for all teachers and are committed to their development.
Dumfries and Galloway offers a rich and diverse quality of life, with outdoor pursuits, arts festivals, and excellent travel links connecting to major centers.
