We're looking for an experienced and motivated Shift Lead Engineer to take ownership of night operations across a major Heathrow terminal contract. You'll be leading maintenance activities in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the shift team in delivering planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Carry out hands-on PPMs and reactive works on mechanical and electrical systems.
Monitor building systems and respond quickly to alarms, breakdowns, and faults.
Maintain accurate records, shift reports, and ensure smooth handovers.
Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and teamwork.
Requirements
Fully qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
Proven experience in building services or critical facilities maintenance.
Excellent fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Previous experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred.
Ability to obtain Heathrow airside clearance.
