Westley Engineering is a Birmingham-based precision pressings, tooling, and machining organisation, serving a range of industries including automotive, aerospace, engineering, and manufacturing. We are looking to strengthen our team with an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager who can help drive business growth.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing our sales strategy, building strong relationships with new and existing clients, and identifying opportunities to expand into new markets. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for:
* Growing the customer base across target industries.
* Developing and delivering sales strategies to achieve business targets.
* Building strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in pressings, machining, and related services.
* Preparing accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence.
* Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer visits.
About You
We are seeking a results-driven and proactive individual with:
* Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or precision components.
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* A self-motivated and target-focused approach.
* The ability to understand technical products and processes (experience in pressings and machining would be a distinct advantage).
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers when required.
