Grid Connections Manager – Battery Storage
Have you got experience in navigating the UK grid connection process? Want to play a pivotal role in delivering utility-scale energy storage projects and make a big impact on net-zero?
One of the UK’s most exciting renewable energy developers is looking for a Grid Connections Manager to take ownership of grid connections across a 2GW nationwide pipeline of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with individual sites ranging from 10MW to 100MW.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing grid connections from feasibility to energisation
* Liaising with DNOs, TOs, and ICPs
* Supporting technical design, cashflow planning, and delivery coordination
* Staying on top of industry reforms and representing the business at key events
What we’re looking for:
* 3+ years’ experience in grid connections (DNO, developer, ICP or similar)
* Strong technical and commercial understanding of UK grid infrastructure
* Experience with NESO Grid Code Compliance and DIgSILENT (a plus)
