The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into clear technical specifications, managing stakeholder communication and sign-off, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all project documentation. You will play a vital part in identifying and resolving delivery challenges while fostering collaboration across teams to ensure successful project outcomes. The Role Develop a thorough understanding of the existing system landscape, including legacy platforms, to support the transition to modernised solutions. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to proactively identify and resolve blockers, ensuring efficient project delivery. Quickly absorb knowledge about internal systems and supported products to provide meaningful and informed input. Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical specifications for engineering teams. Secure stakeholder approval and sign-off on business requirements to ensure alignment and project clarity. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong system and product understanding to address queries and concerns. Ensure precision and completeness across all project documentation and deliverables. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments, maintaining focus despite complexity. Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture across teams, encouraging continuous improvement. The Person Previous experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the financial services or software industries. Proven experience supporting transformation initiatives, particularly in upgrading or migrating from legacy systems. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability, with a keen eye for understanding technical intricacies. Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences. Skilled in working alongside technical teams and business stakeholders to facilitate smooth collaboration and resolution of challenges. Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of documentation and delivery. Strong team player with a collaborative, solution-focused attitude. Working knowledge of JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Proven ability to document both business requirements and technical specifications. Experience in identifying and resolving engineering roadblocks.
