With a strong project pipeline and a collaborative, modern working culture, this role offers excellent opportunities for long-term development.About the RoleAs a Structural Revit Technician / RC Detailer, you will play a key role in producing high-quality BIM models and detailed structural drawings for a wide range of building structure projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and wider project teams to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of design information.Typical Responsibilities Include:
* Producing detailed 3D models using Revit and 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD for a variety of building structures.
* Preparing and detailing reinforced concrete (RC) drawings, schedules, and general arrangements.
* Working collaboratively with structural engineers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
* Coordinating models with architectural and MEP teams, ensuring clash-free design outputs.
* Maintaining drawing standards, templates, and BIM protocols in line with company and industry standards.
* Assisting in the development of project documentation and contributing to design reviews.
* Supporting junior technicians where required and playing an active role within the design team.
Key Projects You’ll Be Involved InThe Cardiff office is engaged in a range of exciting developments such as:
* RC-framed multi-storey developments (hotels, residential, student accommodation)
* National out-of-town retail schemes
* Custodial and secure government-led projects
* Commercial and mixed-use schemes
* Major hospital developments and extension programmes
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience using Revit and AutoCAD within a structural consultancy environment.
* Proven reinforced concrete detailing experience (RC detailing & scheduling).
* Understanding of BIM processes and common data environments.
* Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and wider design teams.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
