Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Hotel Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with various maintenance tasks. This position requires a blend of technical skills and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Reporting to the Hotel Maintenance Manager, your main duties will include:
* Supporting the Maintenance Manager by performing a range of general tasks to keep equipment, and grounds in good condition and good working order.
* To respond to maintenance requests from hotel guests and staff.
* Good communication, problem-solving, attention to detail and teamwork.
* To keep the Head of Maintenance informed of all the activities and incidence in the department.
* Taking care of equipment and reporting faults to the Head of Maintenance
* Good communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and other staff.
* To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety as well as environmental regulations and procedures.
* To coordinate with outside contractors for repair and maintenance work.
* To ensure that operational issues are promptly reported.
* To ensure that all standards are maintained on regular basis.
* Keeping the car park and drive ways in a clean and tidy condition
* Any other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required.
Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
* Strong background in general maintenance.
* Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
