Key Responsibilities
* Deliver adaptive, multi-sensory teaching that meets the needs of learners with a range of additional needs (including ASD, SEMH, and MLD)
* Create a safe, predictable learning environment rooted in relational and restorative practice
* Develop individualised learning plans in line with EHCPs and track small-step progress
* Use strategies that support self-regulation, communication, and independence
* Work closely with LSAs, therapists, SENCOs, and families to provide joined-up, wraparound support
* Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience as part of a whole-child approach
* Maintain the highest standards in safeguarding, professional conduct, and SEND compliance
What We re Looking For
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience working in SEN settings or with children with additional needs
* Deep understanding of inclusive pedagogy and barrier-free learning
* Confident in using visual supports, sensory tools, and assistive technology
* Emotionally intelligent, calm under pressure, and skilled in de-escalation techniques
* Committed to continuous development and building strong professional relationships
