Our Yeovil Nursery is seeking a qualified and committed Level 6 Early Years Educator to join the team. This role is ideal for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about high‑quality, child‑centred practice and supporting children to achieve their full potential during the early years.
The post holder will contribute to leading practice across the setting, supporting colleagues, and ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality early years education in line with the EYFS Framework
* Model best practice and support quality improvement across the setting
* Contribute to planning, observation, and assessment to meet individual needs
* Build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and colleagues
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Support continuous improvement and reflective practice
* Provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues where appropriate
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Hold a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years qualification (e.g. BA Early Childhood Studies, EYPS, EYTS or equivalent)
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
* Be confident supporting and influencing high‑quality practice
* Show commitment to inclusion, equality, and child‑centred care
* Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team
* Be committed to ongoing professional development
