We are seeking a highly motivated Podiatrist with excellent musculoskeletal/biomechanics knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will have a predominantly MSK-focused caseload working within community Podiatry CMATS, collaborating with Orthotists, and with opportunities within Orthopaedics.
We support relevant professional development both financially and with time release.
Main duties of the job
* Managing complex foot and ankle MSK Podiatry cases within the department, CMATS team, and orthopaedics.
* Assisting the head of service with operational and strategic development of the MSK Podiatry service.
* Mentoring and developing junior team members.
* Proficiency in Welsh is desirable; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcomed.

You will work independently in community and acute settings, delivering specialist podiatric care, supporting complex case management, and promoting patient empowerment.
As Team Leader for MSK Podiatry, you will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of best practices, serve as a clinical expert, and oversee training, supervision, and performance assessments of staff. A strong theoretical knowledge base and evidence-based practice are essential.
