About the Role We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Engineer to join a growing water treatment services team. This field-based position involves supporting a wide range of industrial, commercial, and local authority clients by delivering professional water treatment services, maintenance, and system support. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring customers receive a reliable, technically sound, and safety-focused service. You will work independently across multiple client sites, carrying out service, maintenance, and installation tasks while maintaining strong relationships with customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with water treatment experience who enjoys working autonomously, solving technical challenges, and providing high-quality service in the field. Key Responsibilities Deliver water treatment service and maintenance activities at customer sites in a professional, efficient, and safety-conscious manner. Inspect systems and identify any defects, inconsistencies, or potential improvements, communicating these clearly to the customer. Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, industry regulations, and customer site requirements. Carry out installation, servicing, and fault finding on water treatment equipment. Maintain accurate service records and reporting following site visits. Build strong relationships with customers by providing clear technical guidance and support. Conduct regular monthly site visits as part of planned maintenance schedules. Participate in sales visits to potential customer s where technical input may be required. About You We are looking for a well-presented and confident communicator who can represent the business professionally while working independently in the field. You should be comfortable managing your own workload, solving problems on-site, and ensuring work is completed to high technical and safety standards.
