We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Manager to join Böllhoff, a German-backed, global leader in fastening and assembly technologies. As one of the key operational leaders on site, you will drive production performance, champion lean methodologies, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
This hands-on role will suit someone who thrives on the shop floor—leading from the front, developing people, optimising processes, and ensuring that KPIs, safety, quality and delivery targets are consistently met. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Lead day-to-day production operations across the Hull site, ensuring delivery of all key KPIs
* Drive a strong, hands-on leadership presence on the shop floor—coaching, supporting and developing your team
* Implement and champion lean tools (5S, Kaizen, visual management, standard work, waste reduction) to drive efficiency and flow
* Monitor and analyse production performance, creating clear action plans to improve throughput, quality, OEE and right-first-time metrics
* Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve issues, support root-cause investigations and prevent recurrence
* Ensure compliance with H&S standards and create a proactive safety culture
* Lead daily/weekly production meetings, ensuring clear communication of plans, priorities and performance
* Support capacity planning, resource allocation and skills development within the team
* Drive continuous improvement projects, delivering measurable improvements across processes, systems and equipment
* Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting and KPI tracking

* Solid background in lean manufacturing with practical experience delivering improvement projects

* Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally
