About the Role- Competitive salary- Performance-based bonus scheme- Permanent position- Standard working hours with flexibility- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities- Dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growthDuties/Responsibilities- Deliver competitive and holistic designs from concept phase to project completion- Ensure design efficiency and buildability, collaborating with operational teams- Provide technical and design support across all departments- Standardise cage designs and produce controlled pile schedules tailored to site requirements- Lead, check, and approve fabrication drawings from suppliers- Produce method drawings and ensure understanding by key onsite personnel- Create PTP and WTP drawings and analyse project inputs for integrated design solutions- Attend external meetings with clients and manage expectations- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and share ideas with colleaguesAbout you- Masters level qualification in Civil Engineering- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status preferred- Proficient in designing piles and embedded retaining walls; experience with micropiles, minipiles, ground anchors, soil nailing, soil mixing, and jet grouting is advantageous- Knowledge of geological conditions in the North of the UK and associated risks- Basic CAD skills and familiarity with software packages such as WALLAP- Strong understanding of construction processes and site practices- Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently and work under pressure- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Resilient, assertive, and open to change with a determination to embrace personal challengesTo apply for the position, please submit your CV and detailing your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.
