As a Pharmacy Technician at our Ipswich Hospital, you’ll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have proven post‑qualification experience. It’s also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff.
Responsibilities
* Monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department to maintain appropriate stock levels
* Assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems
* Assist with supplying stock to other departments
* Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes
* Provide general administrative support to the department
* Monitor stock levels within the pharmacy department
* Monitor stock levels in designated ward/department areas by carrying out stock top ups
* Assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems
Qualifications
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have proven post‑qualification experience.

About the Hospital
Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital is set in over 19 acres of private woodland. It is a purely private hospital and the first within the Nuffield Health Hospitals group. We are currently registered with the Care Quality Commission for 60 beds, with areas of specialty in cataract, cosmetic, gynaecology, imaging & radiology, orthopaedics and urology & men’s health. Ipswich has a CQC rating of good.
