Your Tasks
* Operate as a member of a team in the Impregnation Department.
* Ensure that the workplace, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
* Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the impregnation department and attend any further training courses as required.
* Complete shift reports detailing production, including any specific data required relevant to shift.
* Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
* Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/accidents and hazards are duly reported.
* Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
* Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or problems.
* When required, provide support for holiday/sickness/training/maintenance cover to help maximise production output and efficiency.
Our Requirements
* Fork Lift Truck License (however training can be provided).
* Reasonable standard of secondary education.
* Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products.
* Able to work 12 hour shifts days and nights.
