Class 2 Driver
Swadlincote
Full-time position with the potential to become permanent.
£14.00 or £15.69 per hour.
Driver Hire Burton is looking for a few HGV Class 2 drivers to join one of our client in Swadlincote. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year driving experience on the Class 2 vehicle, with the availability to do nights out. The position is full-time, on-going with the opportunity to lead to a temp-to-perm.
Duties:
1. Delivering a variety of construction products to different locations across the UK.
2. Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
3. Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
Hours:
4. Early start times between 04:00 and 06:00 in the morning.
5. Minimum 8-hour shifts
6. Monday to Friday
Pay:
7. £15.69ph (PAYE Advanced – Inclusive of holidays)
OR
8. £14.00ph (PAYE Accrued – Accrued holiday)
Job Requirements:
9. HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 1 year experience
10. Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
11. Able to physically fit as some handballing will be required
