Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – South West London – £40,000
Location: Nine Elms
Salary: £40,000 + OT
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM
PRS is currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based at a premium residential complex in South West London. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in building maintenance.
The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance alongside the on-site maintenance team. Candidates should have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £40,000 plus plenty of overtime.

Duties:
* Perform hands-on maintenance of primary mechanical equipment in plant rooms and common areas of a high-end residential/mixed-use development.
* Maintain mechanical systems including AHUs, FCUs, HVAC systems, pumps, motors, valves, and more.
* Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment.
* Respond promptly to mechanical issues and emergencies during working hours.
* Plan and execute mechanical projects and upgrades in collaboration with the maintenance team.
* Participate in building shutdowns with minimal disruption.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical systems.
* Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within prime residential or high-end hotel environments.
* City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, plumbing, heating, or relevant mechanical qualification.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with PDA/mobile devices and report writing.
* Outstanding customer service and client-facing skills.
