Job Description
As a Care Assistant, Support Worker, HCS or Home Carer you’ll be supporting older adults with their routines, providing reassurance and helping them feel safe at home.
Key Tasks
1. Personal care (washing, toileting, dressing)
2. Giving medication support and support with mobility
3. Preparing light meals, drinks and snacks
4. Offering companionship and conversation at the end of the day
5. Recording simple care notes after each visit
6. Taking clients out into the community for socialising or appointments
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
7. A valid Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable.
8. Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS
9. You have the right to work in the UK (we do not offer any form of Sponsorship)
Desirable:
10. Level 4 English and IT literate
11. A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
12. Resilient, reliable, proactive with a can-do attitude
