Health & Safety Manager – RC Frames & Groundworks
Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 + Package. Based from head office with regular site visits across all of London. This is a busy, face-paced role with senior management responsibility and client-facing expectation.
Reporting: This position reports to the department head and the managing director and involves oversight of all live sites and the safety advisors. The aim is to uphold the excellent safety standards across all sites and liaise with site teams, project management and office-based staff to monitor, control and apply health & safety practices.

About the Company
Established over 25 years ago and based out of their head office in Surrey, this £100+ million turnover business specialises in Concrete Frames, Groundworks and Basement Construction. With satellite offices in the South West, they have a strong coverage of projects with package values ranging from £5 million up to £50 million each, primarily within the residential, commercial, leisure and education sectors. They have supplied to this company for over 10 years and maintain strong relationships with all directors of the business.
The business focuses on safety and rewarding staff. The MD takes an active role in the safety department to ensure safety is at the forefront of all operations, with the aim that every person goes home safely at the end of each day. The company emphasises career development and targeted bonus structures to encourage the teams.
Requirements
* NEBOSH qualifications (NEBOSH Construction) is required; a relevant degree is preferred but not essential.
* Experience working for a rival RC frame and groundwork subcontractor in the UK to understand works, environment, risks, and culture of these businesses.
* Willingness to work throughout London and the city centre; applicants should live in or around the South East to make daily travel sensible.
