Job Title: Design Manager
We're seeking a Design Manager to join our Natural Resources team, focusing on projects in the Thames Valley region (North). In this role, you'll oversee the design phase of construction projects related to wastewater treatment upgrades and resilience works.

Working from home and on-site/offices as required.
Contract
Permanent, full-time position. Flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.
Responsibilities
As a Design Manager in our NRNN business unit, you will oversee civils-based construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Your work will involve Thames Water's sewage treatment Waste Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP), managing infrastructure assets both below and above ground.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and design consultants to develop comprehensive solutions.
* Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and documents.
* Ensure compliance with design standards, building codes, and client requirements.
* Develop and implement design management processes and procedures.
* Monitor design progress, identify risks, and manage change documentation.
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal for candidates with:
* Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
* Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar in civils/construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and standards.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM.
