A highly regarded High School in Liverpool (Sefton Park area) seeks an experienced, fully qualified Teacher of Music, starting January 2026. This is a fixed-term contract from January 2026 until the Easter Term 2026. Part-time hours will be considered. About the School This successful secondary school, located on Croxteth Drive near Sefton Park, has a thriving Sixth Form and recently benefited from a new £15 million building (completed post-2015). Historically an all-girls school, it is now co-educational across all years. The Music department is vibrant and superbly resourced, boasting a track record of high student attainment. Responsibilities You will deliver engaging instruction in Music across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level). Your focus is driving high attainment and maintaining standards within the Music curriculum. You must contribute to co-curricular programmes during the fixed-term contract. Requirements You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have successfully completed your induction period. You must have significant experience teaching Music, with a proven record of success at A-Level. You must have the right to work in the UK.
