The Role
As our new
Sales & Business Development Assistant
, you'll play a key part in growing Enava's customer base across the UK.
You'll:
* Research and reach out to potential customers (from printers and publishers to large distribution businesses).
* Build relationships and help companies turn waste into profit.
* Support the senior team with quotes, proposals, and account follow-ups.
* Attend customer visits and industry events to represent Enava with confidence.
* Learn from experienced professionals who'll support your development every step of the way.
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in
attitude and potential
than experience. If you're enthusiastic, quick to learn, and ready to make an impact — this could be the role for you.
You might have:
Experience in recycling, waste management, or sustainability (preferred but not essential)
A degree in sustainability, environmental studies, or business (again, not essential)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A confident, proactive attitude — and you're
not afraid of cold calling
or reaching out to new businesses
Familiarity with
LinkedIn for sales outreach or advertising
(a bonus)
A full UK driving licence — car allowance/mileage or a
company car
will be provided for the right person
