We’re looking for a Sales & Events Manager with energy and flair to grow our luxury hotel’s event business. You’ll be the face of the brand—spotting new opportunities, building strong local connections, and turning enquiries into unforgettable, high-value experiences. From weddings and private dining to exclusive corporate gatherings, you’ll take the lead in planning, promoting, and delivering events that exceed expectations. If you’ve got proven sales drive, a passion for luxury hospitality, and the creativity to make every event extraordinary, we would love you on our team.
What will I be doing?
* Visit and connect with local businesses to promote the hotel
* Create and support social media content to showcase upcoming events
* Prepare engaging copy for event marketing and POS material
* Convert enquiries into profitable bookings while exceeding sales targets
* Develop and nurture strong client and industry relationships for repeat business
* Manage event sales from initial enquiry through to flawless on-the-day execution
* Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless event logistics and operations
* Represent the hotel at industry events, client meetings, and during guest events
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, tailoring every event to their needs

* Proven Sales & Events success in luxury hospitality
* A track record of hitting (and exceeding) revenue targets
* Local network of hospitality/event partners and planners
* Standout communication & negotiation skills; instant rapport builder
* Creative marketer comfortable with social content and event promotion
* Ultra-organised multitasker with strong time management
* Collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed
* Calm under pressure with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Passion for elevated guest experiences and high-end event detail
* Preferable systems: Rezlynx and ResDiary but this is not essential
