Freight Account Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Freight Account Manager to join our flourishing branch at a consistently growing company. This role is a fully remote role working for a Yorkshire based client, ideal for someone with a robust sales background in the freight forwarding industry, eager to make a significant impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Develop external sales with new customers while maintaining existing business relationships.
* Compile competitive quotes and proposals for new and potential customers.
* Ensure customer needs are met effectively, monitored regularly, and accounts are managed proficiently.
* Ensure all bookings and transactions are made in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven knowledge and experience in the freight forwarding industry.
* Previous experience as a Freight Account Manager or Business Development Manager within freight forwarding is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements in the freight forwarding sector.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
