Role Description
We are seeking a part‑time Accounts Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home as needed and includes a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 (pro‑rata), depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing customer and supplier invoices
* Ensuring invoices are approved ahead of payment
* Analysing credit card transactions, expenses, and monthly timesheets
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Supporting the finance team with day‑to‑day accounting tasks
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
* Maintaining clear and effective communication across the business
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role (essential)
* Good working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
* Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
* Relevant qualifications or studies in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (desirable)
* Experience working with CIS or within the construction industry is (desirable)
