Engineering @365 is working with an established engineering company that designs, installs, and maintains advanced air treatment and climate control systems used in demanding industrial and technical environments. The business is expanding its service operations and is looking for a well-organised and technically minded individual to join its growing support team.
About the role:
This position is responsible for coordinating daily service activities, managing customer accounts, sourcing parts, preparing quotations, and supporting the ongoing development of the company’s after-sales and maintenance services.
You will act as the main point of contact for service customers, engineers, and suppliers, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and to a high professional standard. The role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, technical environment where accuracy, planning, and communication are key.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule engineers for maintenance, callouts, and commissioning visits.
* Communicate with customers regarding site access, documentation, and progress updates.
* Source and order spare parts, ensuring timely delivery and accurate stock control.
* Review service reports and prepare quotations for remedial work, upgrades, and renewals.
* Maintain customer relationships by providing technical support and clear communication.
* Manage documentation, including job sheets, invoices, and risk assessments.
* Support process improvements to enhance efficiency across the service department.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in technical coordination or engineering support (HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial plant preferred).
* Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and engineers.
* Background in mechanical or electrical systems such as air handling units, chillers, or dehumidifiers.
* Technical qualification (HNC/HND) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
