We are recruiting Children Support Workers for a residential children's home in Wisbech.
The role involves a varied and sometimes unpredictable day, including activities and attending parental appointments. We seek flexible, reliable, adaptable individuals who can read situations and help young people make positive choices.
Work involves rota shifts (average hours per month) and sleep-ins, depending on the home's needs. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements to accommodate personal commitments.
Responsibilities include:
* Meeting the needs of children and young people in line with OFSTED regulations
* Organizing and facilitating social activities outside school hours
* Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping, etc.)
* Attending and participating in team meetings
Qualifications, experience, and requirements:
* No specific experience required; life skills are valued. Experience with children or in health and social care is beneficial but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
