Company Background: Skiddle was born in 2001 as a what's on guide and began selling tickets in 2006 and is now one of the UK's most loved ticketing services selling tickets for tens of thousands of events throughout the UK, from independent club nights through to 60,000 capacity festivals. Skiddle currently sells tickets for the likes of The Warehouse Project, Creamfields, Digbeth Dining Club and Live Nation, and hundreds of independent venues and promoters across the country. ​ Role Summary: As a Social Media creator, you will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms. You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to create engaging content, drive audience growth, and enhance brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media trends, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies. ​ Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content (posts, images, videos, infographics etc.) for social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Social Media Strategy: Assist in the creation and execution of social media strategies aligned with marketing & company goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth. Campaign Management: Support the execution of social media campaigns, including product launches, promotions, giveaways, and events. Ensure campaigns are aligned with broader marketing objectives. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with all other teams members to create cohesive marketing materials and ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels. Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into your daily work. Experiment with new platforms and emerging technologies. Brand Voice & Reputation Management: Ensure that all posts align with the company’s brand voice and contribute positively to the overall online reputation Social Calendar Management: Building and Managing the social media calendar each week/month, to ensure relevant, appropriate content is always is being posted daily to all social media channels. Utilising Social Media Scheduling software Sprout Social and Later. ​ Skills and experience: 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably in industry Provable experience in creating social media content across different formats (video, image, audio and graphic based) Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills Experience with social media management tools Basic understanding of social media advertising Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail Education: Degree in Marketing or Content Production or a related field (preferred but not required) Personality: A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative team player with a passion for social media and digital trends. ​ Ready to make an impact?
