Role Snapshot As a Cloud Networking Engineer, you will be an integral member of the professional services team, responsible for the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, heavily Juniper orientated. The role will entail, producing HLD/LLDs, assisting with migrations, day-to-day delivery tasks and providing ongoing support as a trusted advisor to the companys clients ensuring the solutions and services provided are at an optimal level. This role suits someone looking to take a step up and has ambitions to widen their remit within projects and delivery, moving into a Senior or Principal Consultant role. Key Responsibilities Assisting with delivery and migration of network, data centre, hybrid cloud and security solutions. Provide exceptional customer services. Contribute to knowledge centre and keep documentation up to date. Be willing to work in a vendor agnostic environment and stay up to date with the latest technologies. Essential Skills and Experience Significant hands-on Juniper networking experience including EX/QFX switching, SRX firewalls and Mist AI-driven wired and wireless assurance. Capable or understanding and operating advanced switching and routing environments. Produce HLD/LLD and be design authority across compute, networking and security. Design and deliver solutions that are on-premises, hybrid cloud and modern DevOps aligned delivery models. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Possessing a growth mindset and can do attitude is vital, being part of a small team, you will be encouraged to step out your comfort zone from time to time. Nice to Haves VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) SDDC (Software Defined Datacentre) - Virtualised datacentre functions such as VMware NSX and Virtualised firewalling. Multi-cloud experience: Azure, AWS, Google or Oracle Certifications Nice to Have, not Essential JNCIA, JNCIS or higher. Additional Requirements: Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK A valid UK driving license. Some of the customer sites are hard to get to via public transport and driving is the only option.
