Position Title: Mechanical Supervisor
Location: Twickenham, London
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 p/a
Job Overview:
Randstad are looking for a seasoned Mechanical Supervisor to join our client who is a leader within the water industry. You'll take charge of ensuring project execution adheres to safety protocols, timelines, and quality benchmarks, all while prioritising customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the coordination and management of operational resources to achieve project objectives safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Direct supervision of subcontractors, offering guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle
2. Task assignment and progress monitoring to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
3. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues within the sewage treatment plant, ensuring uninterrupted operations
4. Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment to optimise performance and longevity
5. Collaboration with the Supply Chain to facilitate seamless contractor delivery and commissioning processes

6. Proven experience in a similar role within the water or utility sector, demonstrating a solid track record of project management and supervision
7. Proficiency in managing subcontractors and direct labour in a diverse, multi-trade environment
8. Mechanical qualifications coupled with SSSTS or SMSTS certification to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
