Are you passionate about giving children the very best start in their learning journey? We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team in Barnstaple.
As part of our Early Years setting, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and inspired to learn through play and exploration.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS activities in line with the Early Years Framework
* Work with children individually and in small groups to encourage progress in all areas of learning and development
* Promote children’s independence, confidence, and social skills through positive interactions
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment
* Support children’s personal care needs, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being
About you:
* Experience working wit children in an EYFS or nursery setting
* Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
