Porter Bathroom is recruiting an Operations Manager to join its growing team in Co Fermanagh.

The role is workshop based and will oversee the manufacturing of products for the interiors industry within a skilled team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, growing company in the high-end interior sector.
What you will do;
Managing orders through production and relevant workshop areas. Collaborate with sales agents to address issues such as required information, timelines, damages, dispatch and tracking.
Liaising with sales and drawing departments where necessary to discuss complications and improve the quality and output of the workshop.
Manage an operational team that consist of dept. heads for stonework, carpentry and brassware workshops, taking into account third party production and logistics.
Establish new processes to enable the company to effectively deliver projects as it scales.
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement on efficiency, quality and health and safety.
Monitor and improve quality control of all finished items ready for dispatch.
Manage on site resources to ensure all departments meet customer requirements.
Responsible for purchasing, cost-saving and stock control for all consumable goods.
Responsible for product stock control, ensuring that all shipments are unloaded, checked and recorded. HR duties including recruiting, scheduling, counselling and disciplining employees. Monitor performance, provide coaching, mentor team members and offer regular feedback.
Helping the company to promote high morale and communicate the company's operating policies. Weekly operations meetings to ensure work flow is appropriately managed.
Who you are;
Excellent attention to detail for this role is essential.
Ability to manage a high work load, work both independently and as part of the team.
Previous production/manufacturing experience essential.
Experience with CAD or similar software packages is advantageous.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a calm, level-headed approach who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
A resourceful, optimistic nature with great care and attention who enjoys a challenge, open to all aspects of projects with a hands-on attitude.
