An ambitious and forward thinking secondary academy in Oxford is seeking a qualified English Teacher to join its dedicated and supportive team from the next academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering engaging English lessons and inspiring a love of language and literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 opportunities for the right candidate).
The Role
* Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that drive progress
* Assess, track and support student achievement
* Contribute positively to the English department and wider school community
* Uphold high standards of behaviour, inclusivity and academic excellence
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it)
* Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English
* Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement
* Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities
* ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
