Forest Centre Manager, Alice Holt
Salary: £33,854
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Alice Holt Forest, part of the South Downs National Park, within an hour’s drive of West London, Reading, Southampton and Portsmouth. The forest covers 850 hectares and attracts over 300,000 visitors a year.
Responsibilities
* Manage recreation operations at Alice Holt Forest.
* Lead the recreation and craftspeople team, overseeing health and safety compliance.
* Administer the budget with a focus on increasing income generation.
* Handle contract management and oversee asset management.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to enhance and deliver an excellent visitor experience.
Qualifications
* Full current UK driving licence.
* Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
* Experience in managing recreation or leisure facilities preferred.
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
* Ability to deliver services at pace and manage quality service.
