Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach with a passion for inspiring young people through physical education and teamwork?
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join a supportive school in Bentley. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your sporting expertise to help pupils develop their physical skills, confidence, and resilience both inside and outside the classroom.
Role Overview:
As a Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging PE sessions, support extra-curricular activities, and encourage pupils to achieve their best through sports. You will also work alongside teaching staff to provide classroom support, particularly in managing behaviour and promoting teamwork.
As a Sports Coach, you will:
* Deliver and support PE lessons and sporting activities.
* Encourage participation, teamwork, and fair play.
* Support behaviour management strategies across the school.
* Motivate and inspire pupils to engage in physical activity and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
* Assist teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Sports Coach:
* Experience as a Sports Coach, PE Teaching Assistant, or similar role (school-based experience desirable).
* Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive, energetic approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
