Main Responsibilities: Supervise the day-to-day operation of the reception desk, ensuring a high standard of guest service at all times
Lead, support, and motivate the reception team during shifts
Welcome and check in guests efficiently and professionally
Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints in a calm and effective manner
Ensure reception procedures and brand standards are consistently followed
Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and shift handovers
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Ensure the reception area is tidy, presentable, and well stocked
Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls professionally
Assist with scheduling, training, and onboarding of reception team members
Maintain office security by controlling access and issuing visitor badges
Carry out administrative duties as required
Requirements: Proven experience as a Reception Supervisor, Senior Receptionist, or similar role, preferably within hospitality
Previous experience supervising or supporting a front office team
Strong knowledge of front office operations and guest service standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Professional appearance and confident, customer-focused approach
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and remain calm under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS systems - Opera
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
