Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated and confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive Primary School in Liverpool (L33) on a long‑term basis.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to take an active role within a KS1 classroom, supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, contributing to high‑quality learning experiences and helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high‑quality classroom support across KS1, working in partnership with the class teacher
2. Deliver targeted small‑group interventions and structured 1:1 support to pupils
3. Support the planning and delivery of phonics, early literacy, writing, and numeracy activities
4. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher to support assessment and planning
5. Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing
6. Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities where appropriate
7. Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources
8. Act as a positive role model, supporting children’s independence and confidence
Essential Requirements:
9. Recent and relevant experience working within a primary school setting
10. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent)
11. Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development
12. A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning
13. Confidence working independently and following teacher‑led planning
14. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
