We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer in Digital Media and Photography to join our creative faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your technical mastery with your passion for teaching. You will play a key role in developing our students technical skills and artistic vision, preparing them for a fast-paced career in the creative industries. Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and assessment in Levels 1-3 and elements of HE Digital Media & Design. With an enthusiastic and engaging approach, you will have the ability to motivate students and support them to achieve their potential. You will be responsible for the success of students and providing an enriched curriculum, monitoring student progress and ensure timely completion and achievement. This will include recruitment, providing advice and guidance to students on their progression routes, and developing industry links that provide them with enrichment and work experience. You will Hold a relevant degree in Digital Media, Photography, or a related field. Hold a teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed) or a willingness to work towards one. Have professional industry experience and a strong portfolio of work. Strong technical proficiency in digital filmmaking, high-end photography, and post-production software. Have the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive studio environment. Have an understanding of working in a darkroom or with traditional photography techniques and equipment (if you do not currently have this you must be willing to learn these skills) You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake).
