 
        The groups of Andy Jones and Dan Rigden at the University of Liverpool are recruiting for a Wellcome Trust-funded project: “Next generation genome annotation for eukaryotic pathogens and vectors, using artificial intelligence.“ We seek a bioinformatician with expertise and interest in pipeline development and genome annotation. You will develop and deploy new pipelines to analyse and annotate pan-genomes, making data widely available via VEuPathDB. The position is available for 3 years, with the possibility of extension to 5 years. If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
