Role Purpose
Maintain the company’s receipt cash book and ensure that all receipts moving through the company's bank accounts is matched to a corresponding transaction in the accounting system.
Core Responsibilities
* Download the daily bank statements and post receipts (customer payments) and reconcile to the Bank statement and General Ledger.
* Investigate any discrepancies and resolve unidentified transactions
* Monitoring bank balances to avoid overdraft fees or interest charges
* Prepare timely bank reconciliations
* Assist with PDM billing
* Undertake ad hoc tasks as required from time to time to assist in the general running of the department
Skills & Experience
* Experience working in a finance team
* Strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships within the finance team, other employees, partners and external clients.
* Attention to detail and identifying discrepancies
* Financial integrity
