We are looking for an experienced housing professional to join our South West Housing Partnership team on a fixed term basis for 12 months, to cover a patch in the Eastleigh/Southampton area with flexibility to cover other patches as required. The ideal candidate will be within a commutable distance to the patch. This position is a part‑time role (18.5 hours per week) focused on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Our housing partners manage up to 600 properties, delivering a proactive tenancy and property management service and responding to customer enquiries. The closest office is in Eastleigh, where you will attend training, team meetings and collaboration days, while an agile working policy allows work from home between customer appointments. You will directly deliver tenancy management and neighbourhood services, collaborate with key colleagues across the organisation, and develop relationships with other local service providers. You will aim to sustain tenancies and ensure neighbourhoods are clean, safe and a place where our customers want to live and thrive.
Hold a CIH Level 3 housing qualification or be committed to enrol within the first year – this will be paid by Abri. You should have experience with customer management systems to record customer contact, be proficient in IT and digitally confident. You must be able to manage challenging situations and conduct difficult conversations with customers to achieve positive outcomes. Experience with legal housing management processes, managing breaches of tenancy and taking cases through the court process is required. You should be able to work independently and manage a varied caseload within key performance service targets and have experience developing and maintaining cross‑departmental and multi‑agency working.
