The Role
Permanent, 14 hours a week
Scope's Wakefield shop - 3 Borough Road, Wakefield, WF1 3AZ
As a Sales Assistant, you'll work alongside the shop team in Scope's Wakefield shop and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment.
You will:
* Complete cash handling, banking and associated administration, ensuring that all till operations in accordance with Scope's policies and procedures and the Shop Operating Manual.
* Maintain a high standard of merchandising of products both in the window and inside the shop.
* Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to manage all aspects of stock collection and preparation; ensuring that stock processing levels are sufficient to achieve required shop floor density, encouraging stock donations at all times.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service, internally and externally, always promoting good practice within the shop.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
* Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
* Ability to communicate well with all customers
* Ability to provide excellent customer service in an efficient manner.
* Proven organisational and prioritising skills

Shop Hours
Scope shops are open every day. Some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed.
* Full-time: 35 hours per week, five days out of seven
* Part-time: Weekly hours on a seven-day rota
Additional Information
