The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of lessons in the teacher's absence, delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged and focused. You will be a consistent presence in the classroom, promoting positive behaviour and supporting a productive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising lessons across KS3 and KS4 using prepared materials
2. Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and classroom conduct
3. Encouraging students to complete work to the best of their ability
4. Providing clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons
5. Supporting the wider school community when required
About You

6. Have experience working with young people in any capacity
7. Can confidently manage a classroom environment
8. Are calm under pressure and adaptable to new situations
9. Communicate clearly and professionally
10. Are considering teacher training or long-term work in education
