Role Overview We are currently seeking a highly motivate d Project Manage r to oversee inspection activities on the Hinkley Point C (HPC) construction site. This is a key role that involves managing operations, liaising with clients, maintaining compliance, and leading a team of inspection professionals Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day inspection operations on the HPC site in accordance with the documented Inspection Management System Promote inspection services and support the development of new business through proposals and tenders, within the defined authority levels Develop and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance Act as the primary liaison between the client and Applus personnel to ensure work is completed as scheduled and in accordance with contractual obligations Ensure inspection capabilities and resources align with company policies, standards, and procedures Coordinate and execute inspection activities following approved quality procedures and ensure compliance with the company’s quality management system Allocate appropriately qualified and competent staff for inspection activities, providing supervision as needed Ensure the availability and adequacy of technical resources to support operational requirements Submit weekly timesheets promptly to support accurate invoicing Uphold all company and site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and ensure full compliance Maintain accurate records of all HSEQ documentation, policies, and procedures Identify and report non-conformances, and manage corrective and preventive actions Participate in NDT management meetings, contributing to strategic planning and delivery of inspection services Attend key coordination meetings including HPC daily radiography meetings, quarterly client contract reviews, and internal project coordination sessions Provide visible safety leadership to on-site personnel Perform any other duties as required to support the business Qualifications and Experience Essential Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Test, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry Strong operational management and commercial awareness Hinkley Point C site experience Radiation Safety awareness Certified Radiation Protection Supervisor Desirable Additional NDT certifications Experience managing operations across multiple sites Core Competencies Self-management and accentuality Strong team collaboration Effective verbal and written communication Customer-centric approach Leadership and engagement capabilities Proactive and forward-thinking mindset Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) All employees are expected to uphold Applus’s commitment to HSEQ by: Promoting best practices and continuous improvement Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and suppliers Ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant work environment Actively participating in company and client HSEQ initiatives
