Essential Responsibilities:
1. Establish a shared vision across the company for a portfolio of products, or platform products enabling development & scalability, with a deliberate and cohesive strategy.
2. Leads product strategy development, and develops a clear, executable view of the product portfolio strategy with cross-functional stakeholders.
3. Shapes the architectural roadmap and balances innovative design and technical implementation, while balancing regulatory requirements, time-to-market, meeting customer needs and product profitability.
4. Champions the customer experience and prioritizes customer needs in product requirements and decision making.
5. Defines and uses metrics that inform the success of products including usability studies, research and market analysis.
6. Standardizes workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making.
7. Responsible for product portfolio profitability, including budgetary decisions.
8. Leads operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews. Interfaces with senior leadership as needed.
9. Maximizes efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the standard.
Expected Qualifications:
10. 12+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
11. 5 years of experience leading others
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
12. Establish a shared vision across the company for Omni-Channel experiences with a deliberate and cohesive strategy
13. Lead product strategy development and share the technical and product roadmap for omni-channel merchants across onboarding, servicing & reporting experiences, Point-of-Sale software and mobile Apps, Tap-to-Pay SDKs, Reader SDKs and cloud APIs.
14. Interface with senior leadership and key partners to drive vision, strategy and execution forward.
15. Drive Partnerships in the omni-channel space across software platforms such as Ecommerce and vertical SaaS; hardware OEM partners, Ecosystem partners like Google and Apple, distribution & logistics partners and partners that drive commerce ecosystem.
16. Lead, develop and mentor a global team of product managers focused on building world-class in-store and in-person payments.
17. Champion merchant and partner platform success balancing innovative merchant experiences, partner platform capabilities, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, and profitability collaborating with cross-functional teams.
18. Experience with Point-of-Sale, In-store products, hardware, and partnerships, ISOs, Commerce Platforms highly preferred.
