We are seeking a candidate to provide initial technical support for the business, enabling staff to work effectively and supporting the day-to-day running of the IT team.
Duties will include:
* Provide hands-on, first and occasional second-line IT support and assistance across the business alongside our Managed IT Support Provider.
* Responding to support enquiries directly from staff and helping to resolve hardware and software problems, forwarding on to our Managed IT Support Provider when appropriate.
* Liaising with and escalating issues internally and to third party software vendors and support partners to provide successful and timely resolutions.
* Provide excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
* Assist in the development of the Knowledge Base to document working procedures.
* Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive through to implementation.
* Assisting in the delivery of technology enhancing projects when required, working alongside the wider IT team.
* Supporting the IT Asset Administrator as required.
* Provide admin support to the IT team
Essential Requirements
* Experience in a ticketing system environment.
* IT Systems / Support experience.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 premium office suite.
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers & mobiles).
Desirable
* Knowledge of Active Directory.
* Basic network comprehension of TCP/IP & DNS.
* Microsoft 365 Admin Centre experience.
