Job Description
Your role will be responsible for the events operations department at Raffles London OWO, ensuring guest expectations are met throughout the entire event experience. You will maintain exceptional levels of guest communication, preparation, and delivery of all events and meetings across the department. The role involves the ability to pre-empt guest expectations and work closely with the Kitchen and sales teams to ensure guests' expectations are met and surpassed. You will collaborate with hotel employees and agency/reserve staff to uphold service standards.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and document steps of service and procedures.
2. Oversee all areas of event service from setup to execution.
3. Recruit, train, and manage all members of the events operations team.
4. Communicate detailed and precise information with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
5. Prepare event spaces for service while managing time-sensitive targets.
6. Take responsibility for departmental training, recruitment, one-on-ones, and appraisals.
7. Perform additional duties as required or assigned, including working in different departments or restaurants.
