Role
The Finance Lead is a key role within the Cambridge University Libraries and Archives Finance Team. The role involves leading a team of four and working closely with the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant, and stakeholders at all levels across both Cambridge University Libraries and Archives and the University Finance Division.
Responsibilities
* Act as a joint deputy to the Head of Finance, alongside the Management Accountant, in financial strategy, governance and management.
* Manage the operational financial administration of Cambridge University Libraries and Archives.
* Ensure that financial data is accurate and reported on in a timely basis.
* Develop financial strategy, in collaboration with Finance colleagues and stakeholders, in line with the Libraries, Archives and University strategic priorities.
Qualifications
* Accountant with expertise in financial and accounting practice and considerable financial acumen.
* Managerial experience leading, motivating and training teams.
* Highly organised and able to communicate effectively at all levels within a complex organisation.
