Job Description
Role Overview:
As the People Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the HRIS roadmap, including managing and maintaining Business Objects reports and assisting the HRIS People Systems Manager in system administration duties.
This role involves providing the business with insightful reports, data analysis, and system optimisation, while ensuring adherence to information security and GDPR standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Data Analysis
* Use Business Objects to create clear, actionable reports that support business decisions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and design effective solutions.
* Develop, test, and troubleshoot reports following a structured ticketing and approval process.
* Ensure proper documentation of all reports, including key details and outputs.
System Administration & Optimisation
* Provide ongoing support for the HRIS (iTrent), ensuring optimal system performance and functionality.
* Monitor system performance and run routine housekeeping tasks; escalate issues to the supplier as needed.
* Manage user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with GDPR and business processes.
* Address data integrity issues, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
End User Support
* Serve as the first point of contact for users needing support with the People System.
* Troubleshoot and resolve user queries, escalating complex issues to the People Systems Manager when necessary.
* Provide training and guidance to core users on best practices for using the HRIS effectively.
Continuous Improvement & Documentation
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the People Systems by testing new features and upgrades.
* Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and end-user guides.
* Stay updated on the latest trends and updates in SAP Business Objects and HRIS functionalities.
* Actively look for ways to improve system efficiency, user experience, and data management.
Experience & Skills:
* HRIS Expertise: Experience working with the iTrent HRIS within a large organisation, with a solid understanding of data management practices.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience using SAP Business Objects for reporting and data extraction, with the ability to analyse large data sets.
* GDPR Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GDPR principles and best practices in data security.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and end users at all levels.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving system issues.
* Process Improvement: A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance system performance and user experience.
Requirements:
* Proven experience with iTrent and/or other HRIS platforms.
* Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
* Experience with SAP Business Objects at an advanced level.
* Knowledge of GDPR and its application to HR data.
* Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
